Change the WordPress Login Page

Change the WordPress Login Page

Posted on 20. Feb, 2010 by JulieP in Wordpress Tips

All our websites are built using WordPress (because it’s cheap, easy to use and brilliant!!).

But one of the things that always bugged me is that the WordPress login page has their brand on it – and it should be ours.

Here’s what I mean.

I want our brand on there – like this.

I used to muck around changing the logo-login.gif file (found in the WordPress wp-admin/images folder on your hosting account).

The biggest pain with that method, is that everytime I updated WordPress, I would have to go and replace the logo-login.gif again.

However – I found a plugin to do exactly what I wanted:

Setting up the plugin is a little tricky, so I did a quick video on how I set it up for The Only Smarter Business Club.

By the way, here is the link to the Web Graphics Creator software I mentioned in the video.

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Digg
  • Technorati Favorites
  • Yahoo Bookmarks
  • Google Reader
  • MySpace
  • Ping
  • Share/Bookmark
